aquaFIX
aquaFIX
New High Performance Coagulant
aquaFIX is a new line of coagulants which have been shown to be highly effective in a variety of applications including the the pre-conditioning of sludges, in waste water treatment and for the aggregates sector as well as in industrial applications such as ceramics. They generally perform at much lower dosages then polymeric coagulants and can replace both metal-based and high-molecular weight species with single product.
Dose demand is dependent on many factors and it is not always the case that more dirty water would require a higher dose rate. In fact dose rate is more dependent on particle size, with finer particles requiring a significantly higher dose to capture. We recommend that you initially test dosages starting at 3 ppm for clean water and 6 ppm for dirty water and increase gradually. Normally an optimum is found in the range of 10 ppm and certainly below 250 ppm.
aquaFIX 721 is generally applied in industrial waters. aquaFIX 619 and 771 are preferred for potable water treatment though a screening is always recommended.
aquaFIX is supplied in IBCs of 1200 or 1300 kg net or in closed head plastic drums (250 kg net).
The aquaFIX line of coagulants has been developed by our valued partner FONTIS NEW ZEALAND LTD (http://www.fontis.co.nz/).
